1. Getting Started

1.1  Edit your profile  

 

 

2. Most importantly add your time zone and the paypal email address which will be used to pay for your classes and where you will be paid if you decide to host

 

3. Add a new “Connection”, either a recipe or a topic that you can teach to up to four others, live 

 

 

 

4. Schedule the class or leave it open so that 

 

5. Users can request a time for a private class with you

 

 

6. You can edit the payment information and negotiate another time for the private class under the “schedule requests” link on your profile

 

 

7. Classes can either be free, paid, and if paid, you can choose to donate some or all of the funds to our partner charity, Action Against Hunger

 

 

8. You can choose to broadcast your class, so that an unlimited number of nonpaying users can still watch you teaching this to others!
1. PROMOTION

 

9. The link to your paid cooking class as well as for the free broadcast will be provided to you on this popup, as well as on this

 

 

10. Schedules page. Promote your class by sharing these links with your friends and followers on your social media, as well as with your blog/website subscribers 

 

 

11. Add this badge to your blog or website, which has a unique URL linking back to your Kitchen Connection Profile.
1. PREPARING FOR CONNECTION

 

12. You will receive email reminders with all of the necessary ingredients and tools you need to gather before your class 

 

13. Make sure that you have a laptop or desktop on Google Chrome or Firefox with Wifi capabilities that allow you to stream at the recommended 1.2Mbps
1. Day of:

 

14. 10 minutes before the start of the Connection (class), this button on your profile will turn red, allowing you to access the room. 

 

 

 

15. If it does not turn red, please refresh the page to join

 

16. a-b. Remember to allow your browser access to your microphone and camera. Position your camera in a way that best shows you and your cooking.  

 

 

 

17. As a host, you may record the session (that only captures your image) that will later be 

 

 

18.  Archived for you to download and upload to your social media channels. 

 

 

19. Chat with fellow participants
